RIP Ch Lajosmegyi Bator Bulcsu

Born November 17th, 1998. Died January 8th, 2011. He was only 12 years old, but lived a long life to the old age of 84. Known to the family under many names, Bully, The Ancient One, Speed Bumb, Butt Chips and the favorite, Black Balls, he lived a long easy fairly simple life, walking the yard, eating, drinking, and barking at ghostly sounds echoing throughout the house, like the door bell ringing on the TV. In his early years Bully traveled the country showing off his perfect coat and walk, becoming a Champion in the show ring. For the past 9 years he has guarded vigorously the inhabitants of his house hold, usually from the top of the steps where he made sure no one went any further, and if they attempted to he would lick them lovingly in the face.

He leaves behind him 9 siblings, the results of a one night stand. They have been scattered across the US and also are showing or guarding livestock.
During his last 4 years, he became friends with three Whippets, Razzie, Billi and Meme – and two Italian Greyhounds, Ator and Zuri. I think they kept him young at heart and happy, no matter how much it looked like they were annoying him. (I think he secretly enjoyed swiping his paws at the Iggys, making them think he was going to have them for breakfast.)

He will be missed by all of us, and I am sure he is in a better place.

About hutch1957

Brian Hutchinson was born in the cold windy city of Cleveland, Ohio over fifty-three years ago. Soon afterwards he found his roots, actually tripped over a few first, in Cincinnati, Ohio. In school, he quickly took an interest in literature and writing and over the past forty years has tried to improve his talents. His hobbies, or what managed to interest him for a short time, have been photography, ham radio, movies, science fiction and TV. After surviving marriage for 22 years and two kids, he became single again and remarried a year later, inheriting two more kids. In his spare time he enjoys self torture and playing WoW, reading and watching mysteries and scifi. He has had many professions, and has finally settled down as a Security Guard. Now he twitters and writes in his spare time, or while he is at work. (Which is really the same thing.)

  1. My sympathies and a whimper from my little Bichon Frise, Moose.

  2. Thanks Judi, he will be missed around here, 12 years is a long time to have a dog, and for that breed.

  3. Aww, I am sorry. Losing four-legged family is as painful as the two-legged. Makayla and Nini meow their condolences.

  4. Thanks Mary, I'm sure he would love that. He didn't have much of an issue with cats. Just curiosity,
